The PTA is a group of like-minded individuals who want to raise funds to advance the educational experience for our pupils by providing and/or assisting in the provision of facilities, equipment and experiences that extend learning

Who are we:
Our core committee comprises of a small team:
Chairperson, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, who maintain the legalities of operating of our
committee.
We also have our remaining volunteers who are integral to meetings, running events and
supporting the school.

What we do:
Team PTA organise and run events such as our Summer Fete, Christmas Fayre, Shopping and
Bingo evenings, to name but a few! They also put on events just for the children like school discos
and seasonal extravaganzas.

What happens with the money raised:
All money raised at PTA events goes directly back to the school and its pupils. Current fundraising
has bought lots of equipment for the school including:

• Twinkl Subscription
• National Trust Membership
• Roadside assistance for the school minibuses
• New stage for performances
• Classroom Books
• Defibrillator
• Easter Bonnet Parade Prizes
• Plus much, much more….

How can you help?
Any parent/guardian/teacher can join the PTA meetings and can nominate themselves (or be
nominated) to join the committee.
Want to help but don’t want a ‘core role’ – there is no ‘minimum commitment’ – just do as much as
you would like to. All efforts are always gratefully received.
