  • Extensive range of sports
  • Creative and wellbeing clubs
  • Forest school
  • Music, choir, drama and dance
  • Leadership opportunities including:
    • House captains
    • School council (Years 1–6)
    • Wellbeing champions
    • Play leaders and librarians

Trips, Visits and Memorable Experiences

Children enjoy a wide range of enriching experiences throughout the year, with around three off-site visits or visitors into school each term. These include sports festivals, farm visits, theatre performances, outdoor learning in the Wyre Forest, cathedral visits, storytelling events, Young Voices, and visitors who bring history, culture and the wider world to life. These experiences help make learning memorable, exciting and inspiring.

After-school clubs

Burlish Park Primary is very proud of its provision of after-school clubs and activities. Most of the clubs are run voluntarily by our school staff, so they are free of charge. There are a small number of clubs that are run independently and the providers will charge for these clubs.

Clubs and activities vary by the time of year. Clubs that we typically run are:

  • Choir
  • Drama
  • Tennis
  • Table Tennis
  • Dance
  • Football
  • Tag Rugby
  • Dodgeball
  • Multi-Skills
  • Rounders
  • Golf
  • Netball

We also aim to offer 16 interhouse events over the course of the year, ranging from poetry to football to baking.
